BEING YOURSELF

Many of the people in the World they have failed to understand who they are and why they exist. We have to know that we are unique and very special people or special beings in the eyes of the creator. We have to stop the habit of comparing ourselves with other people. We are different yes but special in the plans of God.
Be yourself and do the best that you can do because that which you can do is the best that you alone can do and no one else can do it the best as you yourself. Believe in the creator and also believe in yourself that through him you can do all things through him who gives you strength.
Allan Watts Said, " Waking up to who  you requires letting go of who you imagine yourself to be." Most people in life die to chase the shadow of the "big man" who just made it in life out of their unique efforts at the expense of their original self capabilities.
I have witnessed so many potential great preachers, motivational speakers, footballers, actors and singers falling for this unorthodoxical tendency to play wannabes just because they despise their natural abilities in the name of aping "role model"
I am not opposed to the culture of role modelling, but am specifically ired by copy pasted skills which at most ends utterely throwing the imitators into tatters  of shame. Talk of biting the wrong berries.

IT IS NEVER LATE TO BE WHO YOU WANT TO BE

This is how I found myself into acting, I remember when I first joined High School in form one. Our class headed by Mohamed who is now the Director of this Crew (G.A.P.CREW) came up with a play on "NALIAKA" I was one of the crew play actors. From this day I begun to develop my talent as an actor in dramas and later joined a drama club in our school to perfect on my talent. Acting in schools dramas made me to love my talent more and every time I could miss to play in a play or drama my day could not end well.
Sometimes if I was not acting, I would just find myself making fun and jokes hence making people to laugh and breaking their ribs accompanied by tears of joy from what I was doing not only in talking but also by my body expression especially when I put a smile on my face.
In the drama club, I continued to learn new skills from my fellow students in the club. Our drama club used to meet every evening to have practices and we mostly acted in the church hall and sometimes outside the school during public holidays and functions and sometimes during open air meetings such us crusades. From this drama club is when we came up together as team to form this crew.  We came up with objectives, goals of this crew and this is what we are working at to see that we achieve our dreams and our vision. The purpose for this crew is to strengthen the youths who have a desire in the developing their talents hence bringing a change in the community. We are there to nurture various talents and also spreading the word of God through our God-given talents.
I have come to realized my talent and I believe that through this I am going to shine in the future, Through acting I have come to gain confidence in me since once I was shy but now I am very courageous person and there is nothing to fear about. My dream has been that one day to be an actor and I love Churchill show very much since I have also come to have a such like desire in me.
I believe that I can do everything through God who strengthens me. We don't need more strength or more ability or greater opportunity to succeed in life, What we need is to use what we have and trust in the Lord for it is only in the Lord that we can excel in all that we do.
Always remember this my fellow crew members, that It is never too late to be what you have always wanted to be. Keep on working on your talent and you will achieve your dream. God bless you all and direct your steps.

A SHINING RACE TO MY LIFE

I remember it was on Tuesday April  2016, when I joined Gilgal Artists Production Crew. Although I was not willing to join the crew but I admired what they had performed.
I accompanied them the time they were going out for an outing outside our school to act in a nearby neighboring school. On the stage I danced to my best for I had realized that dancing was my talent as well as a musician. After acting I realized how serious the crew was and I hurriedly predicted that the Glory of God had risen on them and the crew was going far.

During the first  meeting, I realized that all members were punctual and ready to spread the Gospel together making youths to nurture their talents. By the time, I was only the form two student in the whole crew and they assigned me to be the assistant chairperson for the courage and determination that I had.

I coped with  all behaviors of my fellow actors/actress in the crew and became very courageous and confident ready to overcome all the challenges that had come across in my life through dancing and singing and destroy all the alters which was preached against my life because God's plans to me was planned for prosperity.

Being assistant chairperson of the crew, I am very appreciative to the crew members for their respect and in face are stars in academics. Due to good morals of the crew members, we are ready to educate people on life matters through entertainment and how to earn their living through their talents. This has led to many people to get attracted to this crew leading to the spreading of the Gospel.

I am writing this to my fellows to encourage them that do not border about your background and challenges you undergo but be prayerful and ready to nurture your talent according to Psalms 121 which says that we will lift up our eyes to the hills from where our help comes from, our help comes from the Lord who made the heaven and the earth.

So you must be determined and confident to what you `re doing whether acting, singing and preaching ready to improve your talent. I am sure and I hope that God will fulfill our dreams and style up our lives and in future we will be changeable people  turning Kenya to a resourceful and God fearing Country.

To all people that are interested in joining this crew, we are there to welcome you and wish you all the best in all that you do.

WINNING STARTS WITH BEGINNING

The beginning is the most important part of any endeavor. Ninety percent of success is showing up and starting. You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try. Do not be deceived. Knowledge alone of where you want to go can never be a substitute for putting one foot in front of the other. To win, you must begin. The trouble with the future for most people is that it arrives before they are ready for it. Be ready for the future.
The time to prepare yourself is now, not tomorrow. Just work hard and smart, remain focused and have a goal in life. Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
Be ready to work. Laziness is the secret ingredient that goes into failure, but is kept a secret from the person who fails. Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven't planted. Do more than work-Excel.

Keep in mind always that God is there for us. Never despise any humble beginning you start with because winning starts with that small and humble beginnings.
God bless you.

LEADERS READ AND READERS LEAD

All Leadership and Authority is given and is there by God. No one was born a leader but God formed us in our mother's womb and He knew what kind of people we will be in the future.
My experience as A Christian Union Leader and Prefect in both Primary and High School has been exciting. I have learnt that responsibility is all about leadership.
A great leader is one who listens to people and helps them. As a leader  you must always take up the responsibility or task at hand.
I always ensured that advice from the teachers was paramount in guiding other prefects that I was working with. I take this opportunity to thank my fellow senior prefects, teachers and the students' body for ensuring that my duties and responsibilities were well undertaken; I also wish those who are leading others now, good leadership skills guided by our good God. For my fellow students' of 2011-2014 scattered abroad in all parts of Kenya and the world, I do wish you all the best in all aspect of life. May you live to shine our school motto.

WE MAKE IT HAPPEN

We have all the reason to thank God for this far. Surely He is Ebenezer. We take this opportunity as Gilgal High School Family to announce our new Crew which is legally signed by our beloved principal Mr Momanyi Antony. We are there to nurture talents and reach out for Christ with the word of God, purposely to win back the lost soul to the owner who is Christ. God bless you and let us keep in touch with you.
